Four days, two hundred plus artists, and countless reasons to attend the 2022 Southwest Arts Festival.

The Southwest Arts Festival® Indio returns to beautiful Empire Polo Club in Indio on January 27th through January 30th, 2022. The acclaimed art festival features a variety of traditional, contemporary, and abstract fine works of art, jewelry and quality crafts.

This once a year art festival takes place at the Empire Polo Club – an international destination renowned for its natural beauty, featuring natural landscape and sweeping mountain ranges. This year’s festival will feature live music, with pottery, glass and fine art painting scheduled to be on display.

Brought to you by the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the City of Indio as well as Title Sponsor Fantasy Springs Resort Casino and Presenting Sponsors Desert Urgent Care and LOCALiQ. The festival’s reputation for first-class quality and professional integrity make it one of the country’s finest juried art festivals. We are exceptionally fortunate to have over 200 community leaders and volunteers who contribute numerous hours to make certain it’s success. The festival will be open daily from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Entry is just $25, which includes all four days and parking and seniors are only $22. COVID-19 Precautions & Southwest Arts Festival
Covid-19 transmission continues to be a serious health concern across the nation, state, and throughout the County of Riverside.  As such, the SouthWest Arts Festival of Indio will be hosted with appropriate precautions to mitigate the transmission of covid-19 based on the data and best practices provided by the CDC in addition to the State of California’s Department of Public Health guidance. 
The Southwest Arts Festival of Indio is an outdoor event providing ample space for physical distancing in an open air environment. The format of the event allows attendees to walk through the exhibition space without congregating for extended periods of time. 
Below are some of the covid-19 precautions in observance:
  • Vaccinations are recommended, but not required
  • Attendance will be monitored to ensure ample space for physical distancing
  • Facial coverings will be distributed at the event entrance, free of charge. Attendees and artists are encouraged to wear a facial covering when congregating or in clos proximity to others
  • Physical distancing 
As host of the Southwest Arts Festival, Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce cannot be held responsible for the risk of covid-19 exposure, transmission, or contraction. Artists and attendees participate at their own risk. GCVCC encourages all artists and attendees to take every personal precaution including but not limited to: being fully vaccinated, receiving vaccination boosters, wearing facial coverings in appropriate settings, and physical distancing.
