DESCRIPTION:The Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce is pleased to host a Legislative Breakfast featuring California Gubernatorial Candidate Steve Hilton. This event is part of our GCVCC Legislative Breakfast Series\, offering members and guests an opportunity to hear directly from candidates in the upcoming California Governor’s race. Questions will be presented by our Legislative Committee and will focus on issues that impact the business community throughout our region. \nJoin us on Friday\, March 27th\, at 9:00 a.m. at Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa. Tickets are $40 for Chamber members and $50 for non-members\, and include a seated breakfast. Registration opens at 9:00 a.m. \nSponsorship opportunities are available at $350\, which include four (4) reserved seats. \nThank you to our sponsors\, AT&T\, the City of Indian Wells\, and Visit Greater Palm Springs. \nThis special event will provide valuable insights into the priorities and vision of Candidate Hilton as he shares his perspective on topics important to our business community and state. \nSpace is limited\, so advance registration is highly encouraged. \nAbout Steve Hilton: \nSteve Hilton has founded several businesses and is a public policy innovator. Born in the UK to Hungarian parents who fled Communism\, Steve attended Oxford University\, started his own company\, helped David Cameron become UK Prime Minister\, and then served as a senior advisor in 10 Downing Street. \nIn 2012\, Steve moved to Silicon Valley with his wife and two children\, becoming a U.S. citizen in 2021. After teaching at Stanford and starting another business\, he hosted the television show The Next Revolution with Steve Hilton and several podcasts\, including California Rebel Base\, The Steve Hilton Show\, and Big Ideas Book Club. \nSteve is also the author of several books on politics and policy\, including Califailure: Stories of America’s Most Mismanaged State and More Human: Designing a World Where People Come First. Through his policy organization\, Golden Together\, he has set out the changes needed to make California “Golden Again.”
