Palm Springs, CA: The Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce recently took a position of support for the Community Housing Opportunities Corporation’s (CHOC) effort to build affordable housing in Palm Springs.  The proposed project is currently before the Palm Springs Planning Commission and Affordable Housing Subcommittee, which most recently met on Tuesday, December 11th, to discuss the proposal.

“Affordable housing is a key factor in supporting our business community and the local workers that support them,” says Joshua Bonner, President and CEO of the chamber.  “Support for housing is built into our 2018 Legislative Platform for that very reason.  The CHOC has shown a strong commitment to invest in their proposed project, while working closely with the City of Palm Springs and the local community to ensure it meets high standards.  We are proud to support this project.”
