Please complete the questions for ribbon cutting celebration requests and to have your event posted on the GCVCC calendar. Your responses must be submitted in advance for proper advertisement, advance notice to dignitaries, and staff support. Submissions are NOT guaranteed until staff have reviewed the GCVCC calendar. One of our priorities is to bring local elected leaders and their offices to your ribbon cutting celebration. With that, we ask that you try not to request yours on a day where the local city councils are in session as they are not able to attend. Please see below for each city as to what their council schedules are.

Ribbon cutting process:

  1. Submit request at least 30 days in advance
  2. Within one week, GCVCC staff will share the status of the request (approve date or provide other options)
  3. Event page to be created and advertised through various communication channels.
  4. Prior to the event, chamber staff will reach out to finalize agenda.
  5. Post event, images and celebration posted on chamber social.
