News from: The City of Indio
A recently-launched Map Portal makes finding information about city events, services and public records easier than ever. The visually appealing, web-based system offers a range of features, including development and capital improvement plan dashboards, a short-term rentals section, Geographic Information System (GIS) maps, and the option to research information regarding specific addresses.
“Instead of needing to visit City Hall or check multiple places online, a wealth of information is now available in one spot,” said Indio Mayor Oscar Ortiz. “The new portal increases transparency while saving residents valuable time.”
The new portal allows visitors to customize maps to display relevant details. The Development Dashboard highlights current and upcoming private construction projects throughout the city, while the CIP Dashboard shows various public works projects throughout Indio.
Visitors and residents will benefit from the Short-Term Rental portal, which displays a map highlighting properties available for short-term rentals, including information such as the property’s address, license number, and licensee.
Residents can quickly look up details about their property under the “Find City Information About Your Address” section on the map portal. Property-specific information, such as government representatives, zoning code, development name, and short-term rental conditions, is now just a few clicks away.
