Accion, a nonprofit microlender in Palm Springs, is bringing its signature resource event Keys to Business Success to Coachella Valley. This inaugural event for small business owners will take place on Thursday, June 8, from 9 a.m. to noon at the University of California, Riverside – Palm Desert Center.
The round-table style event will feature five presentations from various business experts. Attendees will meet in small breakout groups with experts of their choosing for three 35-minute sessions. Between each small group session, attendees will have the chance to network with other entrepreneurs. The topics include:
* Marketing Strategies That Work
* Financing for Business Success
* ABCs of Starting a Business
* Build Your Business Dream Team: Banker, Accountant, Attorney
* To Increase Sales or Decrease Costs: Financial Statements How-To
* Tips for Running a Successful Food Business
The event aims to empower entrepreneurs by providing valuable information to grow or start their business ventures and get connected with the right resources that can support their efforts.
