Aloha Fools Folly

News from: Well in the Desert

Fools Folly has been a major fundraiser for the Well in the Desert for 7 years.  It is meant to honor those in our community who have supported our organization and countless others in the Valley.  We start with a short reception with the piano artistry of Gale Enger, then to a sit-down lunch.  Our theme this year is Aloha Fools Folly, as it is a themed event, so people can wear Hawaiian clothes and be comfortable.  Our honorees for this year are:  The Glenn & Opal Barnett Foundation and Martha’s Village & Kitchen.  Past honorees have been FIND Food Bank, Hidden Harvest, The City of Palm Springs, Desert Disposal, The Palm Springs Police Department and many more.

Our sit-down lunch is Hawaiian-themed with a vegetarian option.

The day begins with a professional foursome from Hawaii who will perform a dance and a couple of Hawaiian songs.

It has always been a favorite event for many.

Reservations can be made by calling:  (760) 323-8353, or (760) 285-7297, or going on-line to http://wellinthedesert.org.
