Are You Interested in Serving on a Chamber Board?

News from the GCVCC:

The Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce (GCVCC) is currently in the process of reviewing candidates for our local and regional chamber of commerce boards.  Are you interested in becoming more active in your business community? Would you like to engage more often with residents and business owners in your city? Do you have a vested interest in your community’s future? Consider serving on a chamber Board of Directors.  The GCVCC currently has board member openings in the following areas:

Cathedral City Chamber of Commerce

Coachella Chamber of Commerce

Desert Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce

Indio Chamber of Commerce

La Quinta Chamber of Commerce

Serving on a chamber board can be rewarding, both personally and professionally.  You have the opportunity to expand your business contacts, interact with and provide feedback to city leaders, and generally play a role in shaping how the chamber supports your business community.  Most local chamber boards meet once every two months, for approximately one hour.  We also ask board members to volunteer a few times a year at events in their city.  Serving on a local chamber  board is also the best pathway to service on the GCVCC Regional Board of Directors.
