The Coachella Valley Housing Coalition (CVHC) is proud to announce that Alma Perez, Project Coordinator for its Multifamily Department, has been accepted to the prestigious Howard and Irene Levine Affordable Housing Development Program at the UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate. As one of only 24 selected participants (from 140 applicants), Alma will gain knowledge of the development process and study topics such as the history of affordable housing policy, introduction to current funding sources, and 4% and 9% tax credit program, design & construction, planning, zoning, entitlements, and a few other topics associated with multifamily developments. The program will run from September 13th through October 6th and will be taught at the UCLA campus by top UCLA faculty and experts in the field.
