News from: Cake4Kids

Cake4Kids provides free birthday cakes, cupcakes, cookies, bar, or brownies to at-risk youth and foster children, ages 1-24. And we are looking for Partner Agencies who would like to bring this service to their Kids.

For those who are homeless, low-income, victims of abuse or trafficking, or in the foster system, there isn’t always a reason to smile. Our goal is to give each child a special day through the seemingly simple gesture of a custom birthday, graduation, or special recognition cake, in an effort to boost their self-esteem.

We are very careful about protecting the privacy of the recipients. We check all of our volunteers against the national sex offender database and reserve the right to background check any of our volunteers. We have mandatory orientations that carefully explain our rules and guidelines, including the privacy of the child, and we only deliver to the caseworker or agency reception desk.

We are in the early phase of starting our chapter here in the Coachella Valley and would love the opportunity to partner with agencies who work with these groups of kids. We will begin providing cakes for these kids by mid-June.
