La Quinta’s Village Park Animal Hospital Celebrates “Cat-Tober” La Quinta, CA – Village Park Animal Hospital is inviting the community to take part in our “Cat-tober” celebration which spans the months of October through December. During this time, our goal is to promote cat health awareness and encourage better quality of life through regular annual exams, bloodwork, and promoting pet insurance to help cover the financial aspect of taking good care of our furry friends. Please join us in the fight for the best quality, and prolonged life spans, of our beloved cats.
The staff of Village Park worked together to create programs and an event to invite cat owners to bring their pets in for complete exams. We offer rewards for cat owners during our Cat-Tober ‘season’, including complimentary nail trims for all cats who have an appointment for a complete physical exam during October, and entries into drawings ranging from free blood work, a weekend boarding stay for your cat in our cat condos, or a basket, especially put together by Dr. Carlson.
We will again be hosting our annual event, Cat-turday Night Live, on Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 5pm – 7pm, here at Village Park. This CAT- TASTIC night will include hors d’oeuvers, guest speaker, an hourly raffle for cat goodie bags, voting for the most impressively decorated cat-themed wreaths (made by our VPAH staff), and the announcement of our Cat Photo Contest Winners, and MORE!
To enter your cat into our Cat-tober photo contest, please submit a great photo of your kitty and which category you want to enter them into, and send your email to: [email protected]. Voting Categories for the event are:
*Best dressed. *Unusual coat. *Longest whiskers.
*Prettiest eyes. *Cat-owner look alike. *Sweetest sleeper
The deadline for photo entries will be October 16th and voting will be from that point on until November 6th. Winners will be announced the evening of Caturday Night Live (Nov. 16th) Voting will be online via our website.
