Holiday Fiesta – Dec 8, 2018

(Beach Boys Classics to be Featured in Concert

A City of Palm Desert/Rotary Family Holiday Fiesta is planned for December 8, 2018, from 9 am to 3 pm. This will be a community-wide, “open to all” celebration for residents of the Coachella Valley and neighboring Riverside and San Bernardino communities. Its primary purpose is to attract 3,000+ people to Palm Desert Civic Park where community organizations and institutions will gather to showcase the many services and activities they provide to the community. Family resources and excellence in education will be the primary theme but the purpose is to celebrate and have fun. Participating organizations will provide interactive activities for attendees.

Highlight of the event is a concert at 1 pm presented by the Family YMCA of the Desert & Walter Clark Legal Group featuring Original Beach Boy David Marks and the Surf City Allstars singing popular Beach Boys Classics. Activities such as mariachi music, games, piñatas, Santa, and more will be occurring during the day. Additionally, food vendors and a beer/wine/ margarita garden will be offered. This event will be fun, engaging, and involve people of all ages, and admission is free. Non profits (free) & For profits ($250) are invited to participate.
