The Coachella Valley Cannabis Alliance Network (CVCAN) has announced its Member Appreciation Mixer to be held Monday July 12, 5PM – 8PM. at the Four Twenty Bank Dispensary & Lounge 296 S. Palm Canyon Dr., Palm Springs. CVCAN is an organization that provides a responsible and productive voice for the cannabis industry throughout the Coachella Valley.

According to Quentin Dusastre, Executive Director of the non-profit organization, “CVCAN members have come to rely on us to provide excellent experiences with access to the most current information in the industry.  We create learning and networking opportunities to bring cohesion and best practices to our members.  This will be our third in-person event this year.”

The first event of 2021 was the group’s second annual charity golf tournament at Woodhaven Country Club (Palm Desert) that raised $6,000 for Desert Cancer Foundation in April.  In June, CVCAN introduced its Board of Directors and Committee Chairs at a dinner held at the Hyatt Palm Springs with CVCAN member @Work personnel speaking about the post-Covid employment challenges facing the industry.

This event, a Member Appreciation Mixer and Dinner, will feature a Taco Bar catered by Chris Fresh Tacos.  Members and their invited guests will also be able to enjoy the amenities of the Four Twenty Bank Dispensary & Lounge such as pool tables, games and a THC-infused beverage bar located in the former Bank of America building. The venue, already a popular destination for tourist and locals, recently opened on 4/20 to rave reviews.

Dusastre explains, “We want to honor our members and at the same time, encourage fellow professionals to join CVCAN so that we can continue expand our experiences, provide new programs and services.”

Members receive complimentary admission (depending on their membership level); they may bring an industry colleague for $20.  Non-members, who must be cannabis industry professionals for this networking evening, will be admitted for $40 with pre-registration. RSVP at https://tinyurl.com/cvcan30.
