College of the Desert Career and Workforce Solutions Center is hosting it’s CareerFest 2026: Spring Career/Internship Fair on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm The location is 43500 Monterey Avenue, Palm Desert, CA 92260, at the Multi-Agency Library (MAL), near the Monterey entrance. Set-up for employers will be from 9:00 am – 9:45 am.

This is an in-person event that will allow you to identify and hire qualified candidates for your open positions. Take advantage of the great diversity that exists within College of the Desert.

Event location: College of the Desert Palm Desert campus off Fred Waring, at the MAL (Multi-purpose Library), next to the Palm Desert Library (same location as our Fall 2025 event).
Date and time: Wednesday, March 4th, 2026, from 10 am to 2 pm, employer set-up time is from 9 am to 9:45 am.
Cost: $125 (includes lunch, presentation space, and swag raffle)
Parking passes and all other information will be provided to you one week before the fair.
For employers who need to create a Handshake account and register, please use the “Sign Up” tab on the upper right-hand side of the “Sign Up/Log In” web page of Handshake.

Other important information:

Internships: Now is the time to post unpaid internship opportunities in your Handshake account. COD’s 12-week Term starts Feb. 23rd, so make sure you have the “Internship Request Form” completed and submitted, as well as the “Affiliation Agreement” if you have not completed and submitted these previously. Please email us if you’re not sure. Paid internships (paid by the employer) can begin anytime during a Term (semester), and again, please reach out to us if you have any questions.
