The Coachella Valley Economic Partnership in conjunction with Leap Online Marketing is hosting a free early-morning workshop, “The Ultimate Guide to an Effective Website and Marketing Campaigns” on Thursday, September 28 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at Palm Springs Motors, 69200 Hwy 111, Cathedral City, CA 92234.
Because business owners, managers, and marketing departments often become overly familiar with and accustomed to the form and function of their websites, they may fail to see how the outdated or ineffective design and functionality of their business website impacts the behavior and purchasing decisions of potential customers. The workshop will offer an invaluable introduction to the principles of effectively designed websites, website performance issues, search engine optimization (SEO), and the basics of digital marketing, with the goal of making sure no local business inadvertently turns away a potential customer because of an ineffective website.
Annette Said of Leap Online Marketing will present the morning’s workshop. The “Ultimate Guide to an Effective Website and Marketing Campaigns” is offered free of charge. While the workshop’s content is designed with small-to-medium sized businesses in mind, registration is open to businesses at any stage or of any size. Light breakfast refreshments will be provided.
