News from: Coachella Valley History Museum
Like other cultural institutions around the globe, the Coachella Valley History Museum has chosen to close after public health officials warned people to stay away from large crowds during the coronavirus outbreak. All tours of the property, admissions, public programs and private events have been suspended. We will continue to monitor the situation, and we will reopen when health officials ease restrictions on public gatherings. The state Department of Public Health said gatherings of people especially vulnerable to the coronavirus, the elderly and people with underlying health conditions, should be limited to no more than 10 individuals. As the coronavirus situation evolves, a decision on when to reopen the museum will be made on a week-to-week basis. We are looking forward to welcoming you back soon.
