One Future and Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce host series that will focus on local education
Coachella Valley, CA: OneFuture Coachella Valley (OFCV), in partnership with the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce (GCVCC) and event sponsor Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, is proud to present a multi-part series, “Destination Talent Coachella Valley: 2020 Education Workforce Series”. The first session in the series will be a webinar titled, “In This Moment – A Conversation with Our K-12 Superintendents”. The session will focus on the state of our local K-12 education system.
This webinar is free and open to the public. The event will be hosted via Zoom Conferencing on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2020, at 11:45 AM. The panel discussion will run approximately one hour and will welcome all three of the Coachella Valley’s Superintendents.

During this conversation the K-12 Superintendents will provide insights into how our districts are preparing the Coachella Valley’s future workforce, as well as managing the current health crisis. Some of the topics discussed during the webinar will include:
What the districts are doing to navigate change as we experience an unprecedented transition to online learning, and what steps are being taken to prepare for Fall 2020.
How the class of 2020 has been dramatically impacted, and how their transition to graduating Seniors is being supported.
Why it’s urgent to adapt to new realities including our current pandemic, and how our students as the future workforce can be significant contributors to the solutions.
These topics and more will be addressed during the April 22nd conference. The “Destination Talent Coachella Valley: 2020 Education Workforce Series” will continue with future conferences that include a focus on higher education, and a look at the workforce of tomorrow in the Coachella Valley.
