Emily Falappino becomes new President and CEO of the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce after serving as the CEO of the Temecula Chamber of Commerce.
Indio, Calif. – The Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce announced its appointment of a new President and Chief Executive Officer on Friday, nearly two months after its former President | CEO Joshua Bonner resigned. GCVCC’s Vice President of Public Policy – Diana Soto – has filled an interim position as President/CEO while the Executive Committee engaged in an extensive search for the next organizational leader. The search for a new President and CEO of the Coachella Valley’s Regional Chamber of Commerce the GCVCC, resulted in over 100 candidates from around the country.
Friday, The Board of Directors of the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce announced that Emily Falappino will be joining the GCVCC Team as their President and CEO. Chairperson of the Board, Jeff Levine said, “The Board of Directors of the GCVCC cannot express enough how excited we are to have Ms. Falappino join our team. Emily brings experience, professionalism and an energy that will shine bright within the business community of the Coachella Valley. Emily’s outstanding leadership ability, creativity and desire to lead the GCVCC forward is an asset to our members and the community.”
Falappino is a Riverside County local who most recently led the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce as its President & CEO. Falappino’s tenure at the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce was marked by significant accomplishments including her role as an influential leader through COVID-19.

Falappino has a Masters of Business Administration from Cal-State University of San Bernardino and has extensive experience with economic development, business development, visionary leadership, and joint-task projects. Falappino will be joining the GCVCC in July.
