The City of Coachella, in partnership with the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Augustine Band of Cahuilla Indians, are proud to host their Annual Tacos, Tequila, & Chavelas Festival on Saturday, February 7th, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Veterans Memorial Park.
This year’s event is FREE to attend and will feature local food vendors, a live band and DJ, mechanical bull rides, roping and corn hole games, food booths, and refreshing aguas frescas! In past years, up to a dozen taco vendors have competed for the coveted “Best of Festival” title — and this year we will be crowning winners during the festival celebration.
A signature handcrafted Chavela and tequila bar will be available for attendees to purchase and enjoy. Title sponsorship for this year’s festival is proudly provided by the Coachella Valley Firebirds and Los Firebirds, with sponsorship support from Augustine Casino.
