The first TREC (Trustees Reaching Every Community) takes place on October 12. This is one that you won’t want to miss! It is all about the science of firefighting as we participate in an elementary student-firefighter “muster” then listen to representatives from the fire department work with middle school students on the development of better equipment. It’s another example of a fun and interactive way to learn, our students interact with community members to study science as part of the STEM learning process (science, technology, engineering, math). Come spend the morning with us as we visit Ronald Reagan Elementary School and Thomas Jefferson Middle School. There is still room on the bus!
