The Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce has announced its annual two-day advocacy trip to Sacramento. Members are invited to join the chamber in the State Capitol to meet with elected leaders from around the region and get better acquainted with the work of their state government. “This trip is an important part of the chamber’s overall advocacy efforts,” says Diana Soto, GCVCC Director of Public Affairs. “If we want our valley’s business community to be represented in Sacramento, we need to go there and let our voices be heard by the elected officials in charge of passing budget and policy.”
The GCVCC delegation will be hosted by the Office of Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia while in Sacramento. We will meet with the Office of Assemblymember Chad Mayes and other regional elected leaders from across Southern CA during the visit. The delegation will also tour the capitol and have time to explore Sacramento. HERE is a video highlight of last years trip.
