Indio, CA:  The GCVCC issued a letter of support for the City of Indio’s grant application to the BUILD program for an extensive interchange project at Monroe Street and Interstate 10 (I-10).  The project will include widening Monroe Street, reconstructing entrance and exits ramps to and from the I-10 at Monroe, and seismic retrofits at the Coachella Valley Stormwater Channel bridge.  The goal of the project is to increase traffic capacity that will also improve safety in the region.
