The Lights at Indio, the Coachella Valley’s only lighted golf course, is turning back the clock – and its prices – to the Summer of ’69 with “Throwback Mondays” in August. This fun promotion allows locals to play up to 18 holes at discounted rates ($8 ride/$3 walk) not seen since the Age of Aquarius, when Neil Armstrong took a giant leap for mankind and Jimi Hendrix redefined the national anthem.

“In addition to our annual festivals, the City of Indio is fortunate to have a wide array of unique, year-round attractions to enjoy, such as The Lights,” said Indio Mayor Glenn Miller. “The Summer of ’69 promotion is a great way for locals to experience the desert’s only night-lit golf course at a discounted rate before our busy tourist season begins.”

In addition to being the Coachella Valley’s only lighted golf course, The Lights at Indio features sweeping vistas, amazing mountain views, a full-length driving range, a short game practice area, instructor lessons, foot golf and a fully stocked golf shop. The remaining dates for the Summer of ’69 promotion are Monday, August 15; Monday, August 22; and Monday, August 29.
