Palm Desert, CA – April 25, 2024 – Grandparents Love (GPL), a non-profit organization dedicated to
supporting grandparents raising grandchildren, is pleased to announce its upcoming fundraising event,
“Cherish & Canvas: A Grandparents Love Fundraiser,” a paint and sip evening at the RAP Building in Palm
Desert, California.
The event will take place on Saturday, May 11th, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the RAP Building located at
41550 Eclectic St, Palm Desert, CA. Participants will have the opportunity to unleash their creativity
while enjoying a relaxing evening of painting and socializing.
“We are excited to host ‘Cherish & Canvas’ as a way to bring the community together in support of
grandparents who are raising their grandchildren,” said Aristotle McDaniel, President of Grandparents
Love. “Raising grandchildren can present unique challenges, and our organization is committed to
providing resources and assistance to these families.”
The cost of admission for the paint and sip event is $45.00 per person, which includes all painting
supplies and instruction. Refreshments will also be provided.
In addition to painting and socializing, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in an exciting
opportunity drawing, with fantastic prizes generously donated by local businesses and supporters.
Funds raised from the evening will directly support Grandparents Love’s mission to provide programs
and resources to support grandparents who have taken on the responsibility of raising their
grandchildren.

Aristotle. “Every dollar raised will make a meaningful difference in the lives of grandparents and their
grandchildren.”
