(Indian Wells, CA) The Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce welcomed its 2019-2020 Board of Directors at their annual Installation Dinner and Annual Meeting on Tuesday, June 25th.
The Executive Committee will be led by Board Chair, Toni Merrihew (Chandi Group USA). Merrihew will be joined by Immediate Past Chair, Ernesto Rosales (Ronald McDonald House Charities), Incoming Chair, Jeff Levine (Asher & Asher), Vice Chair, Jay Chesterton (Fantasy Springs Resort Casino), Treasurer, Carmen Contreras (Carmen Contreras State Farm), and Secretary, Richard Ramhoff (Desert Care Network – Desert Regional Hospital).
The at-large board of director seats for the 2019-2020 year will be Dede Callanan (North American Title Company), Victoria Llort (Mission Springs Water District), David Nola (Alpha Media), Julio Figueroa (AT&T), Austin Beneteau (Modern Woodman Financial), Cindy Burreson (Renaissance Indian Wells Golf Resort & Spa), Rob Ballew (Family YMCA of the Desert), Valerie Ward (Burrtec Waste and Recycling), Tatiana Yturralde (West Coast Cannabis), Vicky Franco (Forest Lawn Memorial-Parks & Mortuaries), Lesa Bodnar (Coachella Valley Economic Partnership), Julie Frazier (Frazier Pest Control), Mike Etheridge (Western Water Works), Herman Garcia (Rabobank), Ramiro Jimenez (FirstBank), Debbie Wales (Desert Care Network – JFK Memorial Hospital), Jeff Fishbein (Coldwell Banker), Mike Williams (Capitis Real Estate), Mickey Jumapao (NAF Inc.), Jennifer Van Horn (Spotlight 29 Casino).
“We are excited for the coming year,” said Board Chair Toni Merrihew. “This is a great group of professionals leading this chamber. We are very proud of the progress we as an organization have made over the last three years, but we also know there is more work to do. Our chamber is not a static organization, we are always looking to move ahead and get better. This chamber will continue to evolve with the times to deal with new challenges and meet the needs of our membership.”
The new board of directors begin their service on July 1, 2019. A board retreat and planning session is scheduled for July 12th and 13th, to chart the work for the upcoming year.
