Halloween Spooktacular Happens in Downtown Cathedral City on Sunday, October 30th, Noon to 3 pm!
Cathedral City, Cathedral City Police Department, Cathedral City Fire Department, and City of Cathedral City’s Special Events bring to you Halloween Spooktacular, Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 12-3 pm.
The event will occur in downtown in front of City Hall (Town Square), 68-700 Avenida Lalo Guerrero.
Halloween Spooktacular will include free admission as well as exhibits sponsored by non-profit organizations, the Cathedral City Police Department and Cathedral City Fire Department and you business owners.
Free activities include Trick or Treating for kids with over 50,000 pieces of candy to be given out thanks to our partnership with La Michoacana Ice Cream Parlor and Candy Store on Landau and Vista Chino. The Halloween costume contests for kids 12 years old and younger – two bikes will be given to the winners every hour; the Cathedral City Police and Fire Departments will be showcasing their fire engines, police cars, motorcycle and SWAT units as well as a special K-9 demonstration. Best of all, you’ll have an opportunity to get to know those who serve you in a time of need.
We are excited to announce Sun-Line Transit Agency will also bring back the popular “Bus of Horrors” with new scary zombies and frightening fun!
Come hungry this year for some delicious food from local vendors that will offer some great lunch items and thirst quenching beverages for the whole family.
Eat at the Halloween Spooktacular picnic tables or bring a blanket for a picnic in the park.
Finally, the Mary Pickford Theatre will offer a free Halloween, kid-friendly movie at 3 pm for the first 135 guests who line up at the theatre.
Families are encouraged to come to this fun, interactive event where children can trick or treat in a safe environment. Children will even receive a free trick or treat bag (While supplies last) so that they can go home and celebrate with their family in their own neighborhoods as well. It will be a Spooktacular time!
