Imperial, CA: IID reminds the local business community the Custom Energy Solutions Program is designed to promote energy efficiency by providing incentives to businesses.

Qualifying measures must retrofit, replace or upgrade old equipment with new, energy efficient technologies that exceed the applicable Title 24 energy efficiency requirements as established by the California Energy Commission or current industry standards using IID-approved project baselines.

About CESP

The 2019 Custom Energy Solutions Program is designed to promote energy efficiency by offering financial incentives to commercial customers who install energy efficient equipment and/or integrate energy efficiency design into their facilities. Encompassing major renovation and new construction projects, the CESP is now more robust than ever.
The goal with all energy-saving measures is to improve the efficiency of the customer’s business facilities. Qualifying measures must retrofit, replace or upgrade old equipment with new, energy efficient technologies that exceed the applicable Title 24 energy efficiency requirements as established by the California Energy Commission or current industry standards using IID-approved project baselines (if Title 24 standards are not applicable).
