News from: Desert Wildlife Center
Are you passionate about wildlife and eager to make a difference in our community? The Desert Wildlife Center needs dedicated volunteers like you to help us with key upcoming events that raise awareness and funds for our mission. Your support is invaluable as we work together to protect and rehabilitate local wildlife.
We have several opportunities for you to get involved:
- Indio International Tamale Festival: December 7-8, 2024, from 10 AM to 7 PM at Miles Avenue Park in Indio – Our team will have a booth, engaging with visitors and sharing our work with thousands of festivalgoers.
- Village Fest: Join us every Thursday evening from 5 PM to 10 PM as we connect with locals and visitors, raising essential funds and spreading awareness for our programs. With two shifts available, you can volunteer without committing to the entire evening
Volunteering at these events is a fantastic way to make a real impact while meeting others who share your passion for wildlife. Your support at these events helps us build awareness, foster community engagement, and generate funds to further our mission. If you’d like to volunteer or learn more, please CLICK HERE.
