After forming in the mid-60’s, The Jacksons, five brothers from Gary, Indiana, became one of the biggest and most popular groups in the history of music with chart toppers like “Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)” and “Can You Feel It.” On Saturday, August 25th, 2018 they will once again be delivering a night of amazing music and showmanship to the audience at The Special Events Center at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino.

With such songs as “I Want You Back”, “ABC”, and “I’ll Be There”, the Jackson 5 made history in 1970 as the first recording act whose first four singles reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. They ultimately scored 17 Top 40 singles on Billboard’s Hot 100 with hits such as “Never Can Say Goodbye” and “Dancing Machine”.

In 1976, the group, except for Jermaine, left Motown for Epic Records where they added their brother Randy and changed their name to The Jacksons. They released five albums between 1976 and 1981, which produced the smash hit singles, “Enjoy Yourself”, “Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)” and “Can You Feel It.”

In 1983, the band, along with Jermaine performed on Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever and released the top-selling Victory album the following year. Victory featured the hit singles “Torture” and “State Of Shock” (with Mick Jagger). Soon after, The Jacksons’ songs “ABC” and “I Want You Back” were listed among The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s “500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll” with “I Want You Back” being included in the Grammy Hall of Fame.
