The El Gato Classic is coming to the City of La Quinta and has opened its “doors” to advertising and sponsorship opportunities for this year’s E.G.C. Legends Weekend.

This special event, previously held in Palm Springs, is joining the beautiful city of La Quinta, and the E.G.C. Legends Weekend will be held on November 11-12, 2022 at the new La Quinta X Park.

Previous year’s events were a great success, thanks to the support of Vans, P.S Resorts, and others in the community. With more than 500 attendees, volunteers and spectators, this is a great advertising opportunity with local and global exposure.

The event organizer is local full time resident Eddie Elguera. Eddie is an early innovator of vertical skateboarding, two-time world champion, and Skateboard Hall of Fame inductee. He invented and perfected several vert tricks throughout the years including the Frontside Rock ‘n’ Roll and the “Elguerial,” a maneuver named after him, just to name a few. Eddie helped advance and inspire the next generation of skaters that became household names including Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, Eric Koston and Christian Hosoi.
