MSWD is Flipping the Switch on Energy Efficiency

Message from Mission Springs Water District:

Desert Hot Springs, CA—Mission Springs Water District, through a grant provided by the South Coast Air Quality Management District, is “Flipping the Switch” on its new one-Megawatt solar project. Funded pursuant to the requirements of AB-1318 (V. Perez), $3.3 million was awarded to MSWD from mitigation costs for construction and air-quality offsets of the CPV Sentinel “peeker” power plant in North Palm Springs.

WHEN: October 10 at 9:30 a.m. (light refreshments will be served)

WHERE: Shuttle service will begin at 8:45 a.m. at the corner of Little Morongo Road and Dillion Road in Desert Hot Springs (MAP)
