New mural enhances rich artistic culture in the Pueblo Viejo District
Celebrate the unveiling of the latest mural in downtown Coachella, “Legend, Dolores Huerta.”
Created by artist David Damian Figueroa, the mural honors Huerta, a long-time advocate for immigrant, female, and worker rights. She co-founded the National Farmworkers Union with Cesar Chavez. Speakers will include: Huerta, Figueroa, Coachella Mayor Steven Hernandez, Coachella City Council members, and other local dignitaries.
