This e-mail serves as notice that Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) will be hosting a public workshop to present the results of the 2019 Research, Development & Demonstration (RD&D) program, review the 2020 RD&D plan and obtain input from stakeholders, such as the California Energy Commission, Gas Technology Institute, the U.S. Department of Energy, and other organizations engaged in gas research and development, regarding intended RD&D spending for the 2021 calendar year. The workshop will be held on Friday, April 24, 2020, from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM PDT. Subject to the notice below, interested parties may participate in this public workshop online.
Because of recent California public health advisories due to the corona virus, large gatherings in enclosed spaces are prohibited at this time pursuant to the Executive Order issued by Governor Newsom on March 19, 2020 and the Los Angeles County of Public Health order revised April 10, 2020 to extend the Safer At Home Order through May 15, 2020. Therefore, SoCalGas will conduct this workshop online.
