Our Lady Of Perpetual Help in Indio Celebrates the Completion of their Building Project

An exciting new chapter begins this school year for Our Lady of Perpetual Help School (OLPH) in Indio with the blessing of their new Preschool and Parish Center. The Blessing is on Friday, August 25, 2017, at 1:30pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, School, and Preschool at 82-470 Bliss Avenue in Indio, CA. The Most Reverend Bishop Gerald R. Barnes, Bishop of San Bernardino, will preside over the Blessing. All are welcome to attend.

The newly completed 20,000 sq. ft. building, made possible by the Shea Family Charities, includes four preschool classrooms for 80 students, several parish administrative offices, a commercial kitchen, gymnasium, and a stage.

“Our new Parish Center and Preschool is a gift from God for our church, our school, and our city,” said the Very Reverend Alex Gamino, VF, Parish Administrator for OLPH. “It is a sign of hope for the future and aids in revitalizing pride in our community and neighborhoods.”

Preschool Director, Margaret Rivera, adds, “In addition to teaching preschoolers what they need for future years in school, we create a loving, caring environment that puts parents’ minds at ease. Parents know that, while they’re at work, their children are nurtured by us just as they would be at home.” The preschool continues to accept students for enrollment. For enrollment information, parents and guardians can stop by the school, call the main school office at (760)347-3786, or email [email protected]. The first day of Preschool is Tuesday, September 5.
