Riverisde County Approved for Accelerated Phase Two

News from Riverside County

Riverside County announced the State of California has approved their submitted attestation plan (can be found HERE).

Below is a summary of this order that will describe which business verticals are impacted by this decision. “We applaud this development and the continued restarting of the Coachella Valley Economy,” says Chamber President Joshua Bonner. “The Chamber remains committed to advocating for the safe reopening of all our local businesses.”

Approved to reopen at this time:

Destination retail (retail stores), including shopping malls and swap meets
Dine-in restaurants (other amenities, like bars or gaming areas, are not permitted in Stage 2)
Schools with modifications
Manufacturers
Logistics
Childcare for those outside of the essential workforce
Office-based businesses (telework remains strongly encouraged)
Select services: car washes, pet grooming, and landscape gardening
Outdoor museums, and open gallery spaces and other public spaces with modifications

Not approved at this time:

​Personal services such as nail salons, tattoo parlors, gyms and fitness studios
Indoor museums, kids museums and gallery spaces, zoos and libraries
Community centers, including public pools, playgrounds, and picnic areas
Limited-capacity religious services and cultural ceremonies
Nightclubs
Concert venues
Live audience sports
Festivals
Theme parks
Hotels/lodging for leisure and tourism – non-essential travel
