Indian Wells, CA: How do you celebrate our local business hero’s in the Coachella Valley?  With a superhero of course!  The GCVCC is proud to welcome Sam Jones, AKA Flash Gordon, as the special guest host for their 2019 Business Awards Dinner and Annual Meeting.  This year’s event is “Behind the Mask, Coachella Valley Superheroes”, celebrating professionals that make a difference in our community.

“We are excited to welcome Sam as a guest host this year,” says Joshua Bonner, Chamber President and CEO.  “I want to extend a special thanks to Christopher Spellman of Comic Con Palm Springs for helping connect us with Sam.”

The award ceremony will be held on Tuesday, June 25th at the beautiful Renaissance Indian Wells Resort & Spa.  A cocktail and silent auction reception will welcome guests at 5:30 PM, dinner and awards show begin at 6:30 PM.  Awards will recognize professionals in the category of Small Business, Large Business, Non-Profit, Leadership, and more.  The evening will culminate with the winner of the prestigious “Chairman John A. James Lifetime Achievement Award”.

In addition to the awards ceremony, the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce will welcome their new regional and local board members with a traditional swearing in ceremony.
