Seasons Greetings From The GCVCC Staff

Season’s greetings from the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce staff.  What an exciting and historic year it has been!  As we prepare for a full holiday season, your Event’s Team is at full speed readying the 3rd Annual Dinner Under The Glow, Coachella Holiday Parade, and Indio Winter Fest.  ‘Tis the Season indeed!  The GCVCC staff has much to be thankful for this year.  I would like to share some of our appreciation with our members and community partners.

We are thankful for a wonderful Board of Directors.  It has been a very busy slate this year for the twenty-seat board that currently governs the organization.  Under the leadership of our Chairman of the Board, Jason Schneider, this team has done an unbelievable job keeping The Chamber on a growth path while staying up with a heavy event and meeting schedule.  They willingly take time away from their personal jobs to dedicate their talent and energy to ensuring the success of the Coachella Valley Business Community, we could not be more proud or grateful for their efforts.

We are thankful for our Business Districts.  What started out as a concept on a piece of paper has grown into a great working model, with Coachella, Indio and La Quinta all conducting regular meetings to ensure needed services are delivered to their respective committees.  Chaired by Mike Etheridge (Coachella), Jerry Tack (Indio), and Jeff Fishbein (La Quinta), the Business District Boards are playing a key role in helping our local events and membership growth flourish.

We are thankful for our Partners and Sponsors.  Our Community Partners have contributed tremendous support to our efforts from the beginning of our venture.  The Chamber would not be possible without the backing of the Cabazon Band of Mission Indians, the City of Coachella, the City of Indio, the City of La Quinta, and the Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians.  Along with almost 50 Executive Sponsors, The Chamber is receiving unprecedented financial support and resources to ensure the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber is successful.

We are thankful for our Ambassadors and volunteers.  With over 100 events this year, the support of our Ambassador Corps and volunteers is essential to delivering high quality events and services.  We literally could not do it without you.

We are thankful for our community.  Is there a better place to live?  We don’t think so, and it seems the millions that visit our valley each year agree.

Most of all, we are thankful for our Members.  None of this is possible without the support and assistance of our over 1,300 members.  This is your chamber, we hope all of you are as proud as we are.

Our blessings this year are many.  They say it takes a village, we have a whole valley!  From all of us, to all of you, happy holidays.
