Several Local Businesses Partner With Martha’s Village & Kitchen To Stomp Out Hunger In The Coachella Valley

News from Martha’s Village & Kitchen:

Several Valley businesses are partnering with Martha’s Village & Kitchen during the month of November to “Stomp Out Hunger.” Jensen’s, Anytime Fitness Indio, El Tapatio Restaurant, El Ranchito Restaurant, Maxcy’s Grill, and Wildest Greens and Martha’s are coming together to draw attention to the struggles of hunger, poverty, and homelessness.

For each $1 donation, guests receive a red “pin up,” to personalize and place on display in a prominent place in the local businesses. This multi-pronged fundraiser lasts throughout the month of November.

The campaign and partnership between these businesses and Martha’s Village & Kitchen allows people to give back to local families and individuals who are in need in a simple, yet thoughtful manner.

“We are so grateful for these businesses! It is wonderful to know how many people really do care about the plight of the homeless and impoverished right here in the Coachella Valley. When we approached these businesses, they welcome the idea with open arms and open hearts. It is truly special, and it will change lives,” said Stephanie Minor, Executive Vice President of Martha’s Village & Kitchen.
