Formed in 1970 in Southern California, Ambrosia is best known for its string of top-40 hits released between 1975 and 1980, including the top-5 smashes “How Much I Feel” and “Biggest Part of Me.” The group experienced a resurgence in popularity in the mid-2000s thanks to its association with the Yacht Rock genre, which also includes Kenny Loggins, Michael McDonald, Steely Dan, the Doobie Brothers and Christopher Cross.
Ambrosia has toured extensively throughout the years with such notable acts as Heart, Fleetwood Mac, Dave Mason, Gary Wright and Al Stewart. In 2015, the group released the single, “Hopes and Dreams,” which was featured on the FOX television series, “The Sparrows.” An album of all-new material is slated for later this year.
