As a Chamber, we put on events like Legislative Breakfasts so our membership can have honest and valuable conversations with our elected officials. These events are meant for open dialogue and we format them as such, never allowing recordings. Yesterday’s breakfast with Supervisor Perez was no exception. The quote reported by the Roggin Report was taken out of context and distorted the point made by Supervisor Perez – that it is tough to take shots by anyone, at the end of the day we are all human. We thank Supervisor Perez for having an open conversation with our members.
