Fresh off their recent win for Best Country Duo or Group Performance at the 2018 Grammy Awards for their blockbuster single “Better Man” (written by Taylor Swift), Little Big Town shows no signs of slowing down. They’ve just announced a new leg of their latest tour and it’s bringing them to the Special Events Center at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino on Friday, June 29, 2018.
Little Big Town, the reigning CMA and ACM Vocal Group of the Year, recently wrapped their history-making “Little Big Town at the Mother Church” residency at Nashville’s famed Ryman auditorium. Known for their pitch-perfect harmonies, the group has had the same four members since its founding: Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Jimi Westbrook and Phillip Sweet. Their musical style relies heavily on four-part vocal harmonies, with all four members famously alternating as lead vocalists.
In 2015, the band achieved a career defining milestone when their hit single ‘Girl Crush’ took Best Country Song at the Grammy and CMA Awards, and went on to become America’s best-selling country single of the year. With albums Tornado (2012) and Pain Killer (2014), Little Big Town has achieved huge success with multiple chart-topping singles like “Pontoon”, “Tornado” and “Day Drinking”. Their most recent albums Wanderlust (2016) and The Breaker (2017) continue that chart-topping tradition.
Inducted into the iconic Grand Ole Opry in 2014 by none other than Reba McIntire, the group has chalked up in excess of 40 award nominations, and in the past five years has taken home over 20 awards, including multiple Grammy’s, CMA and ACM Awards, and even an Emmy Award.
