Tucker Leads Indio Noon Rotary

Message from Rotary Club of Indio:

Elizabeth Erin Tucker has been installed as the President of the Indio Noon Rotary Club effective July 1st for the 2018-2019 Rotary Year.

Tucker is a Deputy District Attorney with Riverside County. Born in Los Angeles and raised in Fullerton, Tucker attended UC Santa Barbara as an undergrad. She earned her law degree from UC San Francisco Hastings College of Law. Tucker has been with the DA’s Office since 1995 and she specializes in the collaborative court system, particularly mental health and drug court. Tucker has been in Rotary for nearly six years and is dedicated to Rotary Youth Projects and Community Service. In her free time, she is a runner and this fall will be competing in the New York Marathon.

Members of the media are invited to come visit the Indio Noon Rotary. We meet every Tuesday in the Special Events Center at Fantasy Springs. Come see what Rotary is working on and maybe you might want to join our efforts. Feel free to reach out to President Tucker or Don Casper, Public Relations Director for more information.

The Indio Rotary Club is one of the oldest Rotary Clubs in the Coachella Valley opened since 1949. Our group of civic leaders share their time and energy to support our community. We meet weekly to network, hear speakers on various subjects and work on service projects including our signature Coachella Valley Middle School Math Field Day. In addition, we provide Dictionaries for Indio Third Graders, sponsor an Interact Club at Shadow Hills High School, and award Scholarships for Graduates at Shadow Hills High School to continue their educational pursuits. That only scratches the surface of the projects we take on in our community. We meet Tuesdays at Noon in the Special Events Center at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino. Our club is always open to new members who would like to participate in these activities. Our goal is to make Indio, as well as the world, a better place.
