News from: The City of Cathedral City
Staff often get questions about what is under construction, when a roadway is going to be repaired, or whether a new business is going to be opening. Now, there’s an easier way for you to check on these various types of public works and development projects.
The Cathedral City Public GeoHub has been your source to find information and maps showing the city’s zoning and land use, Council districts, General Plan land uses, roads, parks, tribal lands and other data sets. Now, two new services have been added to allow you to see the status of capital improvement and development projects using Cathedral City’s interactive mapping tools
The Capital Improvements Program Hub provides a dashboard of all the active and planned capital projects throughout the city. These are projects initiated by the city to repair or improve the City’s public infrastructure. You can filter your search by project type – maintenance, parks, street improvements, traffic signal installation, and other transportation projects. You can track where projects are from the planning, design, bid and construction phase and get information on completed capital projects.
The Economic Development Hub shares information on private commercial, mixed-use and residential development. So, if you see construction happening and aren’t sure what is going in – you can find the location on the map and see just what is coming to a location near you.
