The ideal candidate, under direct supervision, performs paraprofessional engineering office and field work involving technical drafting, surveying, inspection, design and construction of Public Works facilities; and provides assistance and information to the public.
Training and Experience:
Any combination of training and experience that provides the above listed knowledge, skills and abilities may be qualifying. A typical way of qualifying would be:
Graduation from high school or equivalent
Two years of coursework in engineering mathematics through trigonometry, with college level or technical school coursework in construction technology, pre-engineering or similar related technical subjects; AND
One (1) year of experience as an engineering intern or aide.
