The City of Coachella will conduct a virtual unveiling and media is invited to attend. Masks and Social-distancing will be required. The public can participate by tuning into the City’s Facebook Live broadcast (https://www.facebook.com/yourcoachella) on Friday, May 7 at 1:30 pm.

Coachella Mayor Steven Hernandez, City Council, Mr. Jon Solomon (Riverside County Library Services), Laurence Neufeld (Artist) and Billy Steinberg (songwriter and record producer).
To introduce an oil painted mural referred to as Vineyard Harvest by artist Laurence Neufeld donated by Billy Steinberg. Mr. Neufeld was an Art Major at Bard College in New York and at University of Connecticut, where he earned his degree. Billy Steinberg is a songwriter, musician and record producer known for co-writing No. 1 hits “Like a Virgin” by Madonna (1984), “True Colors” by Cyndi Lauper (1986), “Eternal Flame” by the Bangles (1989), and “So Emotional” by Whitney Houston (1987), to name a few.
The City of Coachella was incorporated in 1946 and is a 29-square mile municipality of approximately 46,351 residents located in eastern Riverside County, in a region collectively known as the Coachella Valley in Southern California.
