The city of Coachella will be hosting members of the Strategic Growth Council, Transformative Climate Communities (TCC) staff, media, and select dignitaries to learn about detailed strategies and plans identified through an extensive community engagement process that comprise its $35 million-dollar Coachella Prospera proposal, whose focus is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and local air pollution. The afternoon will kick off with a hosted lunch, followed by a presentation, a bussed tour to all proposed project sites, and concluding with a final discussion at the Coachella Library on Sixth Street.
