Palm Desert attorney Anyse Smith was appointed on Jan. 8 as the zone five representative for the Desert Healthcare District & Foundation Board. Ms. Smith comes to the board with professional and volunteer experience with many local organizations, including Coachella Valley Rescue Mission and the Coachella Valley Association of Governments. One of six outstanding applicants, Ms. Smith’s legal expertise, lived experience and commitment to equitably advancing wellness led to her unanimous selection. Learn more.
The Desert Healthcare District’s Next Era
We want to hear from you. The Desert Healthcare District & Foundation is engaged in developing a new strategic plan. When completed this year, the strategic plan will inform all funding and programming decisions for the next five years and beyond. We are inviting Coachella Valley leaders, stakeholders and all residents to share their health and wellness priorities at one of seven community listening sessions in February.
