The Desert Recreation District, in partnership with the City of Palm Desert, invites the community to the highly anticipated Grand Reopening Celebration of the Palm Desert Community Center on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 43900 San Pablo Ave., Palm Desert. This exciting, holiday themed event will showcase the center’s beautiful renovations and offer a day full of festive fun for all ages.

The celebration will include facility tours, holiday treats, a special guest appearance by Santa Claus, live music, a “Letters to Santa” Mailbox, and a variety of children’s activities including holiday treats. A highlight of the event will be the “bow pulling” ceremony at 10:00 AM followed by the Community Center opening, marking a new chapter for the community center.
