It was standing room only at the Building industry Association’s (BIA) Evening Mixer held on February 15th, 2023 at Teserra Outdoors in Palm Desert. About 75 attendees from the BIA, staff members of Teserra and members and Ambassadors of the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce gathered to enjoy networking, an amazing spread of appetizers, libations, and even light jazz music!
Attendees were treated to a tour of the showrooms at Teserra, and raffle prizes that included bundtlets from Nothing Bundt Cakes, fall-off-the-bone ribs from Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, hockey game tickets from the CV Firebirds, and a state-of-the-art pool sweeper from Teserra. Chamber members that exhibited at the event included BBSI, the Job Skills Institute, and the Putting Skins Game.
The BIA has, for over 90 years, provided a collective voice in the public policy arena helping builders continue to do business in California’s complex regulatory environment including front-line knowledge of proposed/new laws, policies and procedures that could directly affect businesses.
The evening was enjoyed by all, so much so no one wanted to leave! Thank you, Building Industry Association, and Teserra Outdoors for hosting such a wonderful and impactful event!
