News from: First Tee Coachella Valley
First Tee Coachella Valley invites families, golfers, and community members to a PositiviTee No Boundaries Open House on Saturday, January 3, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at The Golf Center at Palm Desert, home of First Tee Coachella Valley.
“Our PositiviTee No Boundaries class is about opening doors and making sure every participant feels seen, supported, and capable,” said Teal Thron, Chief Executive Officer of First Tee Coachella Valley. “Golf is a game that teaches patience, courage, and connection. This open house is a chance for families to experience that welcoming spirit firsthand and see how adaptive instruction helps every golfer grow in their own way.”
The open house is a fun, hands on way to learn about the PositiviTee No Boundaries class and see how adaptive golf creates space for everyone to play, connect, and thrive. Participants of all abilities are encouraged to attend, whether they are new to golf or already love the game. Families, caregivers, and friends are welcome.
The PositiviTee No Boundaries class is an inclusive program designed to make the game of golf accessible to participants of all abilities. Through adaptive golf instruction and life skills development, participants learn not only the fundamentals of the game but also valuable lessons in confidence, perseverance, and teamwork. The class provides a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone can feel empowered to grow, both on and off the course.
The No Boundaries Open House is free and open to the public. Anyone interested in adaptive golf, inclusive recreation, or youth development is encouraged to stop by and join the fun.
